Team and Partners

Our Predict-to-Prevent (P2P) investigative team includes experts from the Tufts University School of Medicine, the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and Boston Medical Center, a hospital known for its leading work in treating patients with opioid-use disorder and for research related to the opioid crisis.

The Community Advisory Board (CAB) has been a part of the P2P team since its inception, meeting regularly to discuss study design, application of our social-ecological model, and study results, and to share insights and local responses to the current overdose crisis across Massachusetts communities.

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) is a key partner, providing technical expertise and, with the Public Health Data Warehouse, most of the data used in our analyses. Leaders and analysts from MDPH are members of our investigative team and the CAB.
