Are you thinking about careers in Science Diplomacy? Are you interested in advocating for Science in general? The first Science
Science Diplomacy an international, interdisciplinary and inclusive (holistic) process involving evidence integration to balance national interests and common interests for the benefit of all on Earth.
The Science Diplomacy Center has three major areas of focus: Education, Research and Leadership. It aims to: educate the next generation of science diplomats; facilitate research that reveals evidence and options that contribute to informed decision-making; and provide leadership with science-diplomacy networks that build common interests across our globally-interconnected civilization.
Through its leadership, education and research activities, the Science Diplomacy Center applies a holistic decision-support process to address issues, impacts and resources across as well as beyond sovereign jurisdictions for the benefit of all on Earth, involving: inclusive dialogues among allies and adversaries alike, integration of time-space evidence across natural and social sciences as well as indigenous knowledge; and transboundary application of governance mechanisms. The center draws on expertise from natural and social scientists, negotiation experts, government officials, business leaders and community representatives to produce options (without advocacy), which can be used or ignored, that contribute to informed decision-making.
