Brief Description Students gain a better understanding of differences between colonial times and current times by constructing colonial houses, being limited to the resources available during the colonial times.
Lesson Objectives: Identify issues in a story, Find ways to help characters in the story, design, build.
Materials Needed: Cardboard, paper, popsicle sticks, straws, pipe cleaners, tape, q-tips, and toothpicks.

– Gather materials
– Cut pieces of cardboard
