Common iPad Problems

Having an issue uploading your recording?

Check that:

  • You are inside your SUPPER Project Uploads Folder in Box
  • You have set your iPad to not go to sleep while uploading a file
    • To do this, go to your iPad Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock. Set Auto-Lock to “Never”. This will keep your screen awake, but still respect your screen dimming settings.
  • You are uploading one recording at a time
  • Your iPad is connected to WiFi

Alternative Way to Upload Recordings 

If you have been having difficulty uploading using the Box app, the workaround is to delete the Box app and log into your Box account on Safari on the iPad and upload that way.  

  1. To delete Box: 
    Settings > General > iPad Storage > Box > Delete Box 
  2. Using Safari to log into Box 
    • Open Safari > search “Box login” > use the login information for your Box account which is on the sticker on the front of the iPad > you might need to click through a couple times to get into Box > click on your SUPPER Project Uploads folder and upload once you’re inside your folder
    • As a reminder, if you get a message that the file you’re uploading is too large, that means you are not inside your SUPPER Project Uploads folder 
    • It may take a while for files to upload using Safari, but we have tested it and it works so long as you keep the iPad from going to sleep while uploading

Can’t log into Box?

Please DO NOT create a new Box account.

  • Your login info is on the sticker on the front of the iPad.
  • If you’ve lost the login info, feel free to contact us and we will give you your login info.

Uploaded your file outside your SUPPER Project Uploads folder?

There are two ways to move files:

If the file is in Box: Click on the file you want to move> click on the three dots that look like “…” > “Move or Copy” > “SUPPER Project UPLOADS “YOUR ID” > “Move Here”

If the file is in Box Capture: Please review the paper instructions you were given during your baseline visit.
