Tau Beta Pi is a national engineering honors society. Created in 1885, the organization was built to recognize engineering students with high academic performance and strong character. Each engineering school hosts its own branch of Tau Beta Pi, which allows them to organize events to gather as a community of motivated and mindful engineering students.
Students are eligible if they are among the top 1/8 of their junior class or top 1/5 of their senior class. In the fall of their first eligible year, students will be contacted by the current officers and welcomed to join.
Tufts Tau Beta Pi holds many events throughout the year, including networking events exclusive to Tau Beta Pi members before career fairs.
