Eric is looking at effects of climate and insect herbivory on tea secondary metabolites as well as being a part of the Tufts Sensory Panel.
Eric holds a PhD in the Biology from Tufts University. He received his BA in Biology from Whitman College in 2006 and his Masters in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2010.
Eric worked at a tea shop for several years and since returning to academia has maintained a relationship with the tea industry. He has authored several guest blog posts related to his project on World Of Tea and Tea Geek Blogs
