In just 18 months, you can master new ways to inspire the next generation of problem solvers right in your classroom
Tufts University’s Teacher Engineering Education Program is for any practicing elementary, middle school, or high school teacher who is seeking to change or expand their approach through the integration of engaging hands-on engineering principles in their coursework.
The program is a flexible, affordable, and designed to fit a busy teacher’s lifestyle. All four courses are online, allow participants to work at their own pace, offer 16 total hours of graduate credit, and have a low student-to-instructor ratio. Participants are provided a rich environment of video tutorials, online office hours, and peer feedback as they progress through the program.
All materials necessary to complete the coursework are shipped to participants, including robotics projects and hands-on resources from LEGO Education. Course content is differentiated for those just getting started and those who have already used engineering in their classrooms. Teachers can choose to take single content and pedagogy courses as their schedule permit, or enroll in a complete certification program from the start. For $300 per credit hour, any K12 teacher can gain new knowledge, new resources, and a new approach to teaching and learning.
