We strive to keep our tuition and fees at a reasonable cost, at $420 per credit hour.
Certificate Program Tuition
The proposed tuition rate for the full 2024-2025 Certificate Program is: $5,340.
The 2024-2025 tuition rate for the online Teacher Engineering Education Program is $420 per credit. Some courses may require an additional $150 lab fee.
The tuition is all-inclusive for the 4-semester program. In addition, content courses require an additional $150 lab fee. Participants also may need to supply some basic materials from craft or hardware stores.
Tuition is billed in four equal installments at the beginning of each semester.

Fall 2024 – $1,260 with $150 lab fee
Spring 2025 – $1,260
Summer 2025 – $1,260 with $150 lab fee
Fall 2026 – $1,260
Individual Course Tuition
Tuition for individual TEEP Courses during the 2024-2025 academic year: $1,260 for each course (each course is 3 credit hours) plus $150 lab fee for Content courses. Up to two TEEP courses can be taken prior to enrolling in the program. The total tuition paid for courses taken individually will be deducted from the TEEP Certificate tuition rate at the time of enrollment. Registration and Payment
Tufts Center for Engineering Education and Outreach program administrator will provide registration information after a student has applied and received approval to enroll in TEEP courses. Payment is due with course registration.
*While most tuition rate changes are effective in the fall term each academic year, The Trustees of Tufts College reserve the right to change the tuition or to establish additional fees or charges for special features or services whenever such action is deemed advisable. We will provide the earliest possible notification of changes in tuition and other fees.
