Dr. Saloni Dev – Founder and Principal Investigator

Dr. Saloni Dev is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health and Community Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston. With a background in clinical psychology and public health, her principal areas of research are global mental health, implementation science, and social drivers of mental illness. Specifically, her work has focused on the development, implementation, and evaluation of mental health interventions in low-resource settings. She is particularly interested in the use of task-sharing in global settings. Her work has utilized multi-method approaches to enhancing implementation of primary-care and community-based mental health interventions in South Asia and Latin America, and on investigating social drivers of mental illness among residents of urban slums in India.
