Sarah Aldulaimy (she/her) is a first year Masters student attending Tufts University and studying Child Study and Human Development. She is a reflective young woman whose personal experiences as an immigrant have shaped a strong sense of empathy, resilience, and social responsibility. Growing up in such a context helped her develop an understanding of how cultural expectations can influence mental health outcomes, which in turn fuels her commitment to advocacy. Her long term goals and research interests reflect a trauma-informed, justice oriented vision to support children who have experienced profound adversity and to eventually aid systems of care that center dignity, safety, and accountability. Above all, Sarah approaches her work intentionally with compassion and a deep belief that children deserve to be understood rather than judged. During her free time, Sarah loves to read, spend time with her friends and family, and play video games in her spare time.
