Jessica H. Greenstone, Ph.D. is a qualitative researcher with a background in developmental psychology, education, and adolescence. Using interviews, focus groups, observations, and other types of qualitative data, she examines the complexity of individual and interactional experiences, and how those experiences can inform program practices and policies to optimize participation and impacts. Jessica has worked on a wide variety of evaluation and research projects with TIER since 2007, including serving as the Qualitative Research Manager for the Massachusetts Healthy Families RCT Evaluation-2, and co-leading TIER’s Community Evaluators training institute. Jessica received her Ph.D. in Applied Child Development at Tufts University, and her M.S. in Learning, Teaching and Social Policy at Cornell University, studying girls’ social, emotional and intellectual development at both universities. She earned her B.A. in Women’s Studies from Douglass College at Rutgers University. Previously, Jessica served as the Education Director for the New Jersey region of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), where she directed its anti-bias and anti-bullying educational programs in K-12 schools throughout the state.
