Global Access in Action (GAiA) is a dynamic global health non-profit organization that focuses on improving access to lifesaving medicines in vulnerable populations through the implementation of legal, policy, and regulatory reform. We work with key domestic and international stakeholders. We seek to conduct research on the costs of trade and regulatory barriers to access to medicines in the OECD and explore incentive mechanisms that would encourage rapid availability of new medicines. The research assistant will be closely involved in the literature review, drafting and revising the white papers or articles. The RA will work with  GAiA’s Co-Directors: Professor William Fisher, Professor Mark Wu, Professor Ruth Okediji and Quentin Palfrey. Under the supervision of GAiA’s team, the RA will work to produce a paper on  the costs of trade and regulatory barriers to access to medicines in the OECD. Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, and a recent writing sample at gaia@cyber.harvard.edu.
