The Climate Policy Lab is seeking four research assistants to conduct background research on state-owned energy enterprises (SOEs) in a wide range of countries (BRICS, majority of the EU countries, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Morocco). Research assistants will be expected to conduct an inventory of national energy SOEs in three to six countries and also assemble key information regarding SOEs size and operations, investments, climate change strategies, and other financial and corporate metrics.

Qualifications: Candidates should be detail oriented and have experience collecting, collating and organizing quantitative and qualitative data. Proficiency in Excel is a must. Language skills in Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, or Chinese is a plus. Interest in clean energy is preferred. Candidates should be current Fletcher School students who are available to start working on this project immediately. The hourly rate is $17. The estimated work volume is approximately 8 hours/week for 4-6 weeks.
