At luxury footwear lifestyle brand Sarah Flint, we believe in design that inspires, quality and style that endures, and comfort that keeps you moving. We are seeking a forward-thinking, problem-solving, analytical graduate student or PhD candidate to help drive our sustainability goals and vision. The Sustainability Intern’s focuses include analyzing environmental impact within the Company’s supply chain, collecting and maintaining information about the Company’s products and vendors to ensure environmental compliance, and monitoring evolving sustainability standards, trends, and government regulations.

U.S. Underrepresented Minority Students REU, Organization for Tropical Studies (La Selva, Costa Rica)

We are looking for undergraduate African Americans, Hispanic Americans, American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and Native Pacific Islanders, who are curious about the natural world. Design and carry out original scientific research in a tropical rain forest. Strict COVID protocols will be followed as part of the on-boarding and during-program procedures. $550/week stipend, room and board, funding for international travel.

REU in Changing Coastal Environments, LUMCON (Cocodrie, LA)

This summer, mentors are interested in supporting interns to conduct research in a number of topic areas, including: biogeochemistry, habitat forming species, dissolved organic matter cycling, microbial ecology, coastal geology and sea level rise, invertebrate diversity and ecology, disturbance ecology, ecosystem ecology, wetland science, and oil spill impacts. $600/week stipend; room and board, transportation stipend, and research funds.

Global Research Assistant Program, Tufts University (Remote or International)

The Global Research Assistant Program (GRAP) provides the opportunity for Tufts students to work with Tufts faculty members on international research and impact projects for a minimum of eight weeks during the summer. Projects this year include research on coral reef resilience, socio-ecological resilience in coffee, academic outcomes of primary school students in Uganda, exploring the dark universe, the power of mentoring, and more.
