iReporters for Outdoor Nation Summer Summits (Boston, Austin, Los Angeles)

Outdoor Nation and The North Face are looking for a few lucky Millennials to be iReporters at Summer Summits on the outdoors!

This summer, Outdoor Nation is hosting Millennial Generation Summits to brainstorm ways of getting your generation outdoors and active. We’re looking for three people to tell the world about it! Do you love writing and making videos? Outdoor Nation has partnered with The North Face to find enthusiastic, media savvy people to be embedded reporters (iReporters) at the 2012 Outdoor Nation Summits.

iReporters will be in the thick of the action, get an all-expense paid trip to the Summit and great gear from The North Face! Three winners selected by Outdoor Nation and The North Face will report LIVE from the Summits using an iPad. (you get to keep! Seriously.)

If you’re between the ages of 18 – 28, you can apply to be an iReporter by liking Outdoor Nation on Facebook and checking out the iReporter Challenge. (http://tinyurl.com/7pz8nnz)  Complete the steps below before May 29, 2012 at 5 PST:

1. Upload a 30 second video through this contest on Vimeo telling us why you want to attend a Summit, what makes you a great iReporter and what you’d be most interested in reporting on.

2. Write a 150-word “blog style” essay telling us about your best day outside. Submit it to us at info@outdoornation.org.

3. Once both your video and essay have been submitted, post this tweet: “I want to #iReport for @OutdoorNation” to finalize this application.

Outdoor Nation and The North Face will choose which Summit location (Boston, Austin, or Los Angeles) the winners will attend.
