Cochrane Systematic Review: Standard Author Training June 6, 13, and 20th 2025
Led by an expert interdisciplinary faculty, the program covers foundational topics including protocol writing, PICO question development, literature search strategies, bias assessment, data analysis (both dichotomous and continuous outcomes), and meta-analysis. Participants will also gain experience with key tools like Covidence and RevMan, and engage in small group exercises on title registration and critical appraisal. The course concludes with a presentation session and feedback, preparing attendees to launch their own Cochrane review projects with confidence. Register here!

This training included an overview of the Cochrane Collaboration as well as instruction in developing protocols, systematic literature searches, study selection, critical appraisal, bias assessment, data extraction, analysis and interpretation, evidence and finding review, and RevMan and Covidence software. Cochrane Systematic Review: Standard Author Training July 12, 13 & 16 2021
This training included an overview of the Cochrane Collaboration as well as provided instruction in developing protocols, systematic literature searches, study selection, critical appraisal, bias assessment, data extraction, analysis and interpretation, evidence and finding review, and RevMan and Rayyan software. The event was a great success with 9 trainers, 5 facilitators and over 30 participants from across Tufts University, Rutgers University, Tufts Medical Center and the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging!
