We’re excited to announce that the Clinical Skills and Simulation Laboratories team has introduced a refreshed set of rules to enhance the learning experience for all users. We are dedicated to providing an environment that is both educational and safe, and these updated guidelines are designed to ensure that every participant can fully engage in our state-of-the-art simulation experiences.
What’s New?
The updated rules encapsulate key elements of lab use, including:
- Streamlined Attire Guidelines: Clear instructions on the required dress code to maintain a safe and professional environment.
- Reinforced Food and Beverage Policy: A reminder about our strict no-food-or-drink rule to preserve lab cleanliness and ensure the safety of all users.
- Emphasized Confidentiality and Professionalism: A reiteration of the importance of maintaining discretion and respect within the lab.
- Clarified Access and Resource Usage: Guidelines on how to responsibly access and utilize the lab, including after-hours requirements and the proper handling of Learning Library resources.
Why the Update?
Our goal is to keep the lab a secure and efficient place for learning. The updated rules were crafted based on feedback from our community and the latest university guidelines and policies regarding laboratories on campus.
Where to Find the Updated Rules?
We have ordered posters that will be posted on the walls inside the labs for quick reference. We also encourage all lab users to review the updated rules on our website.
