We are so excited to announce the official start of our new Peer Clinical Education (PCE) Program here at Tufts! This program has been designed for students, by students, as an opportunity to get more guided hands-on practice outside of the Clinical Skills course. Each week, student PCE’s will be holding drop-in hours in the Joseph Kelley Sim Lab, where anyone and everyone is encouraged to come by and practice their skills! These drop-in hours will be:
- Sundays: 3-7 PM
- Tuesdays: 5-7 PM
- Fridays: 3:30-5:30 PM
The first of these drop-in sessions will be this Sunday, 9/24 from 3-7 PM! Each week we will be putting a special focus on the skills covered in the previous weeks’ Clinical Skills labs, but as always, everyone is welcome to come work on whatever skills you’d like. This week, our focus will be on the simple interrupted pattern, and quick-release knots. Please feel free to come with any questions you have about these or other skills, we hope to see many of you there!
