This year, the Tufts AIChE chapter is sisters with the AIChE Santos chapter from Universidade Santa Cecília in Brazil. This partnership allows members from both chapters to learn about being a chemical engineer at both a different school and a different country. This also opens the opportunity for students to begin to interact with other engineers outside of their school which can help with their professional development. On October 18th, the two chapters held their first bonding event. Members competed in a Kahoot Game with questions relevant to the chapters. Tufts AIChE and AIChE Santos plan to hold more events, both social and academic focused, in the upcoming weeks and months. The Universidade Santa Cecília also published an article about the sisterhood, if you want to learn more: https://noticias.unisanta.br/ciencia-tecnologia/aiche-santos-de-engenharia-quimica-da-unisanta-fecha-parceria-com-o-capitulo-estudantil-da-universidade-tufts-nos-eua
