Formed in 1942, The Tufts Student Chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers has been a fixture for Tufts’s Chemical Engineering students for 78 years, providing support and networking opportunities. Members have been active participants in national and regional conferences, as well as student-organized events that have since become tradition, such as trivia nights before class registration and the annual Life After Graduation Panel. Members also participate in many community outreach and education activities such as the Tufts University Community Day. The chapter also organizes tours of local chemical and biological engineering company facilities in and around the Cambridge area for Tufts students and faculty.
