About:
This seminar is for the discussion of various topics in computational and applied mathematics. The talks range from short informal presentations from graduate students and current faculty to full research presentations by invited speakers from outside the department. Topics include the background of useful tools and techniques in scientific computing, discussion of how applied mathematics is needed or being used in applications, and state-of-the-art research in computational and applied mathematics.
