BSCES Future City Competition

The BSCES Public Awareness & Outreach Committee is currently looking for volunteers to help during the New England Future City Competition day: Saturday, January 26th, 2019
Location: Watertown Middle School (68 Waverley Avenue)
Time: 8:00am to 3:00pm
BSCES is currently in desperate need for judges on competition day. Judges will be selecting the winners of special awards and the team that will be representing New England region in the nationals. The future city competition is a nationwide competition where students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade imagine, research, design, and build cities of the future. Each year students are given a city problem to which a solution needs to be incorporated into their future city. This year’s challenge is to create an resilient power network.
No previous judging experience needed. Volunteers are to Check-in at Volunteer Check-in table to attend the judges’ orientation session before competition day begins. Please email BSCES’s outreach committee if you have further questions regarding the event: sofia.puerto@tufts.edu
