This website you’re viewing is the culmination of the work of Courtney Kreitzer and Jalen Little, two undergraduate interns at Tufts University working over the Summer of 2022 at the Center for Engineering Education and Outreach. Along with their advisor, Alison Earnhart, they have been exploring how currently available “off the shelf” tech and apps could be used in new combinations to enhance how students use 3D technology, especially in collaboration with each other.
This exploratory work is still in its very early phases, and the main goal is simply to demonstrate what is currently possible with apps and tools that already exist (preferably for free or cheap) so that educators and students can begin collaborating to create things in 3D. If you have any feedback for us, we’d love to hear how we can improve this first attempt at communicating our findings. On each of our blog posts, there is the ability to leave comments — don’t be shy about correcting mistakes, asking questions, or making requests about additional information you’d like to see. Thanks for visiting!
