Treatment options for inflammation
If your body is inflamed, it is important to talk to your doctor to determine and address the root cause.
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil), and naproxen (Aleve) will help reduce the pain and inflammation, but will not address what is causing it. Steroids, supplements, or foods high in antioxidants (leafy greens, salmon and nuts) may also help lower inflammation.
