What is a microcavitation?

The beginning stage of a cavity.

What causes microcavitations?

Bacteria that sticks to your teeth.

Symptoms of microcavitations

A white or brown spot on the tooth surface.

Treatment of microcavitations

Good dental hygiene by brushing at least twice a day and flossing once a day.

For microcavitation, baby bottle caries and white spot lesion, should an additional treatment be added–topical fluoride application, either through fluoride varnish or use of fluoridated tooth paste &/ or mothwash?
