Our group aims to develop and understand novel catalytic processes which improve the sustainability of fuel and chemical production. We utilize controlled heterogeneous catalyst syntheses, a battery of material characterization tools, ambient-pressure and high-pressure batch and flow reactors, various analytical methods for product composition determination, and kinetic modeling tools to connect fundamental catalytic observations to performance under economically viable conditions.
