B.S. Chemical Engineering, Obafemi Awolowo University, 2020

Oluwatofunmi (Tofunmi) received her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo university. She interned as a data engineer for 10 months at Cirrusage Nigeria Ltd and spent her final year researching on Adaptive Model Predictive control. Over the years, she has keenly developed an interest in sustainable development solutions like the conversion of feedstocks like biomass and waste gases using catalysis.

Tofunmi is currently designing dilute alloy materials for use in the selective functionalization of biomass-derived oxygenates.

In her free time, she enjoys swimming and playing board games (Monopoly).
