My robotic pet can follow me by sensing the distance to my feet. It will run before me, and if we are too closed, it will speed up. If we are too far away, it will stop or slow down. It will have a constant distance from me.
Great to see the intelligence programmed into your bot – it really gives the feeling that it is a responsive being in the space. The idea of a robotic pet is great. What would you have added if you had more time? What features would help it be an even better pet? As the mom of a child that really wants a pet – it would be great to have the experience of having a pet without having to get a pet sitter when we travel.
Your robot pet looks very interactive and playful! It is sort of like a robot that can play tag with you. Great work and nice use of sensing.
