Smart Fan
Smart Fan
Fan that turns on and off when you sit in the chair
Stuart
The fan has a distance sensor attached. Reads the distance out to an if loop, which will actuate a servo to hit a button. this is because the button belongs to a different electric circuit. Starts another while loop that tells the fan to cut power when the distance is >100.
I love how your robot detects when to turn on/off the fan that’s very useful and will save a lot of power!
The fan is a really good idea. I thought it was smart that you used the servo to press the fan button.
Really useful application, It’s impressive to see the fan you created. Much smarter tha a typical “smart” home appliance.
I like how it will save electricity
I really like how the fan is autonomous so that it saves power.
Awesome idea!
This has really cool applications. Love how you were able to automate it.
I liked it a lot!
Very power efficient, useful in situations like camping when its difficult to charge anything.
Really cool use of circuits!
cool idea!
super cool and efficient use of circuits and electricity!
very cool, sounds very energy efficient since it turn off when not in use
This is a very creative product and a unique way of approaching this concept. Very creative and well done!
Interesting concept
The laser cutting is a really nice touch!
The detection system is really useful and creative
Great idea, that would save energy
Very practical and useful
This was a really great idea – not only were you able to automate a simple task, you were able to make fans more energy efficient! You did a great job incorporating the button and servo and it was cool to see you troubleshoot your problems. Overall, this project was very creative and well designed!
