SweeperBot
SweeperBot
Pushes and plows little problems away.
Stevie
Stevie’s SweeperBot pushes and plows little things on the ground. It’s purpose is to let the owner do less work by pushing small things on the ground away. You can tell what distance it’s reading by the lights. Even if you’re having a bad day you can scream at it and it will turn off in response. The perfect robot for all light, small, and annoying objects cluttering up on the ground!
SweeperBot is pretty cool! I dig the screaming function – wish you’d recorded it anyway, regardless of how scary it would have been.
I really like the arch in your cardboard grabber! Very cool
I really liked your use of proportional control to make the robot slow down as it gets closer to the edge. It was cool that the lights matched this and that the robot turned when it reached the edge.
Hey Stevie, fun infomertial-style video and really well-controlled robot! What inspired you to install scream-to-stop? Did you experiment with pushing heavier objects, I’m curious to know what SweeperBot could handle!
I love how it knows where to find the packing peanuts! Awesome!
Great video!
Really cool concept. Loved your video, it was very entertaining and definetely quite useful
Hilarious! I like the combination of humor and engineering! I appreciate the commitment to testing and hope your family appreciates your dedication!
I think that your video is really funny and sold the robot well. It also picked everything up really well.
The robot advertisement is great and I like how the robot is very functional.
It worked really well! It was really funny.
I thought that the way you sold us on your project in the beginning was hilarious, but this would be pretty useful for doing stuff like cleaning your room.
I like the screaming function, its more automatic that way
Hi! Great work- seems to navigate really well and the distance sensor feature is awesome. How did you come up with a design for the cardboard sweeper’s shape? did you experiment with other shapes as well?
The video was really funny and humorous, actually found myself chuckling a little bit. Smart idea and genius presentation, very well done.
The video is really well done! and the cardboard construction is really good!
I think everything should turn off when you scream at it
Screaming is a great idea
Getting it to stop by screaming is pretty funny
