The Shower Timer

The Shower Timer

The Shower Timer times a person’s shower to make them more conscious about how much water they use.

Abby

The Shower Timer times the length of the user’s shower and is started and stopped by when the user presses the button. At the five, eight, eleven, thirteen, fifteen, and twenty minute marks, the robots will alert the user of how many minutes have passed and will change it’s lights to a different color or to flash. Once the user stops the timer, the robot will round the time to the nearest whole minute and calculate how many gallons of water were used. It then tells the user the time and gallons used, as well as how their time compares to the national average.
