This project plays music recommendations based on the user’s mood

This project is meant to suggest songs based on how the user is feeling. The computer first asks the user how they feel which the user then types into the user input box. It then cycles through a list of words relating to a simple emotion (ie. happy) and checks if any of the words in the list are in the user’s answer. If so, it suggests a song that corresponds to that specific list. If not, it moves on to the list of words corresponding to a different emotion (ie. mad) and repeats the process. Ideally this program would be coded on the robot so that the robot and user could interact and the user would be able to directly listen to the song from the speaker in the robot without having to click a link.
I love this idea, and the fact that you did this project with no power and no connection to your robot is actually insane! Do you plan on including multiple songs per emotion and randomizing them?
I feel like this is what Spotify does to me when im not looking…it always picks the right tune for my current mood!
Yeah I kind of go the idea from apple music and spotify. I just wanted to make it so that people didn’t have to hunt for those playlists!
