The first idea of this robot was a reference to the pass the butter robot from Rick and Morty or something along the lines of it. It would find the butter(the ball in this case) go towards it, latch onto it and take it somewhere. Since it would be really hard to find butter using the robot I decided to use a ball instead, it WAS a yellow ball but I just couldn’t get the robot to detect it, so the “butter” is now purple. Due to many roadblocks and my lack of knowledge, I made… this abomination…that doesn’t work. Take my word when I said I was moving towards the ball correctly but I messed something up and now it is stuck in centering the ball in the camera. As it is, this robot is now a ball detecting robot that doesn’t even see a ball half the time.
Pretty neat! I like you leveraged visualization so human can see how robot thinks. Keep up the good work!
I know that the project didn’t turn out perfectly, but I love the idea and it shows that you worked really hard on it!
This is great! It seems like you got pretty close, and definitely worked hard on the concept. I think with a bit more time you could definitely have it working!
