GoPlowGo: A Snow Plow Robot

A snow plowing robot designed to assist anyone in need of a clear path.

The GoPlowGo robot gains inspiration from my grandparent’s path and the 1-3 inches of snow they often get in the winter, however, the robot is designed for anyone in need of a plowing. The programmed algorithm is designed to cover each spot on the path multiple times, ensuring a clear walkway. When joined up with the Internet of Things, the robot could either start the plow via remote control, or get a reading from the local weather and decide if a plow is necessary, all while the user sips their morning coffee in the comfort of their home. While the GoPlowGo is small scale, snow plow robots are an inspiring idea and could potentially be clearing multitudes of winter walkways in the future.
