The GoPiGo Door Sensor has both a distance sensor and camera attached to it. The distance sensor is actively checking every half a second to see if the distance between the nearest object is less than what it should be from the door. When the distance sensor finds that someone or something has walked through the door, an image will be taken by the camera. Then an email with the image and an alerting message will be sent.
