CBT Pollution Patch
This project aims to deliver a portable, inexpensive system capable of measuring the presence of pollutants in areas without access to more expensive pollution measurement systems. The measuring device we developed was cotton threaded patch composed of dyes that change color in the presence of pollutants and with a cell-phone app that can identify and characterize those color changes. These threads are washable, reusable, and can detect both gas-based and water-based pollutants.
