Position announcement: Water Resources Policy Intern at the Upper Mississippi River Basin Association
The Upper Mississippi River Basin Association (UMRBA), a regional interstate organization, provides a forum for discussion and collective action on regional water resource issues. UMRBA is hiring for a Water Resources Policy Intern for summer 2021. The Intern for the Upper Mississippi River Basin Association (UMRBA) will assist in researching policy and management issues, communicating the five states’ policy positions, and developing opportunities and means for interagency collaboration and coordination. In addition, the Intern would assist in developing the Association’s external communications – e.g., new website development. Applicants should have an interest in river-related issues, water resources, ecology, environmental science/management, and public policy.
