Q: What is the dress code for the immersion?
A: Please plan to follow a smart casual dress code.
Q: Do I need to carry my passport with me?
A: Please bring your passport for the dinner on Sunday evening.

Q: Who do I notify if I have specific dietary needs?
A: We have the dietary restrictions your submitted in your registration form. Vegetarian options will be available at all meals and breaks during our programs, and additional dietary needs (vegan, gluten free, etc.) will be accommodated as well.
Q: How should I prepare for the immersion week?
A: Please be sure to complete the required readings prior to your arrival. Review the information on this website, and notify us if you have any dietary restrictions.
Q: Where will sessions take place?
A: All sessions other than the site visits will take place in the Joyce Cummings Center (JCC), 177 College Avenue, Medford, MA. Room numbers are noted in your schedule. Please note there will be site visits on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning.
Q: Will I have internet access?
A: Yes, free internet access is available in all campus locations,
Q: Do I need to bring my laptop to each session?
A: We recommend you do not bring your laptop to the sessions so that you’re able to be present for the speakers. Fletcher will provide participants with writing materials for note-taking purposes.
Q: Should I bring any writing materials?
A: Yes. Writing materials will be provided for your sessions.
Q: For transportation, does the T have a schedule I may refer to?
A: Yes, the T runs on a regular schedule. Please refer to the T’s website for train times and other information, such as whether or not there’s a delay or interruption in service.
Q: What are the menu options for dining? Are meals included?
A: Our programs include most meals, coffee breaks and any receptions. Participants are responsible for dinner on free evenings where “Self-Organized Dinner” is noted in the schedule.
Q: Will I need to bring cash with me?
A: You may wish to use cash during your free time, however most locations accept cards in this area. Should you need an ATM, there are machines in the Campus Center available for your use.
Q: Are the site visits optional?
A: We have carefully selected each site visit experience to enhance the coursework curated for your cohort, and attendance is therefore required.
Q: Is there parking at the hotel and/or on campus?
A: Valet parking is available for hotel guests for $57 per night. There are also parking garages near the hotel: Pi Alley (275 Washington Street) and One Beacon Street Garage (1 Beacon Street). If you drive to the Tufts/Fletcher campus, we recommend parking in the Cousen’s Lot across from the Joyce Cummings Center (177 College Ave, Medford, MA). You will need to purchase a daily Tufts parking permit on the Tufts Parking website.
