Dr. Elena Naumova
Dr. Naumova’s research spans emerging diseases, environmental epidemiology, molecular biology, and nutrition. Her expertise lies in analytical tools for spatiotemporal and longitudinal data analysis applied to disease surveillance and growth studies.

Dr. Mary Davis
Dr. Davis is an associate professor in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning and Senior Associate Vice Provost for Education at Tufts. Her work explores the intersection of labor, health, and well-being, focusing on occupational health and inequality.

Kyle Monahan
Kyle Monahan specializes in environmental science and engineering, focusing on geochemical techniques and water quality. His research includes modeling social and behavioral factors affecting point-of-use water technologies.

Yutong Chen, MPH, MS, PhD ’26
Chair of the Organizing Committee
Yutong is a 4th-year PhD candidate in Nutrition Data Science at Tufts. Her research focuses on advanced statistical modeling and machine learning to study dietary intake and improve data visualization in nutrition science.

Jennifer Carpenter, MS, RD, LD, PhD ’26
Jennifer is a PhD candidate in Nutrition Epidemiology and Data Science at Tufts. A registered dietitian since 2016, she bridges nutrition science, epidemiology, and data-driven approaches to improve health outcomes.

Dr. Eliza Dutta
Dr. Dutta is a Wellcome Trust Fellow and Visiting Scientist at Tufts. Her work focuses on women’s cancers, environmental exposures, and evidence-based policy, emphasizing analytical methods and public health impact in India.

Frank Li, BS, MS ’26
Frank is a master’s student specializing in Nutrition, Data Analytics, and AI. His research integrates AI-driven approaches in precision nutrition and health data to improve personalized nutrition outcomes.

Sophia Marks Miller, PhD Student
Sophia studies Agriculture, Food, and the Environment at Tufts. Her research explores the impact of climate extremes on agriculture and food systems, combining climate science, crop modeling, and policy analysis.

Iris Park, BS, MS ’27
Iris is a master’s student specializing in data analytics and AI in nutrition. She aims to integrate data-driven methods with clinical nutrition to address public health challenges.

Ellie Vance, MS
Ellie is a research assistant focusing on Indigenous food systems and climate resilience. Her work bridges agriculture, education, and adaptation to climate challenges within local food systems.
