FWN Newsletter: Highlighting our Community Around the World

The FWN Newsletter may go by many names: bulletin, circular, quarterly, or zine. It’s aim is constant: to nourish our community of Fletcher alumnae. You can expect simple, structured, and succinct reading material that will keep you abreast of network happenings each quarter.

After nearly two years of pandemic reality, FWN is working diligently to rebuild its committees, raise visibility and voices, and be a relevant and useful tool for those who share class years, fields of study, or general curiosity. We recognize that social media is flawed and it’s not enough, so we wanted to return to a new format – the newsletter – for disseminating information and inviting dialogue. And while this may not be born from a printing press, our goal is to build a better way of communicating and connecting with each other beyond email, beyond, Facebook, beyond the blue screen.

In this newsletter, we hope to portray the professional as well as personal struggles, strategies, and successes of Fletcher women at work in different stages of their lives. We seek to provide a forum for Fletcher women to share their voices and to provide support, ideas and hope to others facing transitions or just challenges.

We call on you, the reader, to share with us your thoughts, experiences and perspectives. If you’re interested in contributing or sharing ideas, please do get in touch – we’re very interested in hearing from all of you.
