The Gass Lab, along with One Health colleagues at Tufts University including Dr. Felicia Nutter and Dr. Hellen Amuguni has been invited to participate in the planning committee for a North American One Health University Network (NAOHUN), which will be modeled based on the successful African and Southeast Asian One Health Networks (AFROHUN and SEAOHUN), which were supported by Tufts from the start. We will continue to support the development of a One Health Workforce throughout North America, specifically focused on research and intervention implementation for highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) at the interface of food agricultural farm biosecurity.
