At the Gass Lab, a joint research collaborative between Tufts University’s School of Medicine and Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, we study the joint effects of climate change and anthropogenic activity on the emergence of infectious diseases at the intersection of human, animal, and environmental health.
Using field-based surveillance, bioinformatics, and species-centered intervention design, our work integrates population- and molecular-level analytical approaches to study viral transmission dynamics at multiple One Health systems and scales.
