Cases:
Regional Ethics Bowl Cases 2016-2017 are available. It is likely that not all cases will be used during competition. The specific cases used for competition have not been decided yet and schools should prepare all cases as each are equally likely to be used in competition. Tufts will not disclose which cases will be used in any round of competition until the start of the round. The cases were created by the Parr School for Ethics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Rules, Procedures, and Guidelines:
All teams should read the Rules, Procedures, and Guidelines for the New England Regional Ethics Bowl. This document contains information about competition format, competition rules, as well as team rules and guidelines. It will be indispensable for schools who are competing in their first Ethics Bowl.
Scoring:
All teams should know how they will be scored. The Judge’s Score Sheet will answer your questions about what criteria will be rewarded during competition and what will not be rewarded. In order to perform well, it will be important for teams to review this document. More detailed explanation on the relevant criteria can be found on the Judge’s Scoring Criteria document.
