The IDEA lab hosts a wide range of interdisciplinary projects that intersect with areas including: programming, mechanical engineering, robotics, ergonomics, UX/UI, industrial design, VR/AR/MR, machine learning, consumer psychology, entrepreneurship and more.
Each project team has a Team Lead(s) who sets the vision for the project and a Project Coordinator(s) who ensures the timely progression of the project. Together with their team of 5-10 students, each team gains valuable project/product management skills from hands-on experience in the lab.

Attendance Policy
Minimum time commitment: 4 hours/week
3 research hours & team meetings at a decided time + 1 hour at Saturday meeting
Big meeting attendance is mandatory
We take attendance, even if you are on zoom. An absence is excused if you let your project leaders know 4 days in advance. After 3 unexcused absences, lab leads will get in touch and decide on whether or not you should continue in the lab.
