Postdoctoral Opportunities
Our lab is hiring post-docs on a rolling basis. Please email your CV and cover letter to David at david.kaplan@tufts.edu including what your vision is for working in our lab. Depending on the fit for the lab’s research interests, you will have a 30-minute call with David, followed by an in-person visit to the lab to meet our current post-docs and research faculty, which will include a 1-hour talk about your prior research project(s).
Position Opening! Post doc with molecular biology expertise, particularly with CRISPR. We are looking for an individual interested in research to bioengineer animal cells for new functions using genetic tools, particularly CRISPR. Genetic designs, implementation of these designs, and cell characterization subsequent to the modifications are key aspects of the position, with the individual having the skills to efficiently conduct a range of studies. Key aspects of the studies will include genetic modifications related to cell production of specific proteins to regulate functional aspects of the cells themselves, or to generate proteins useful after downstream purification. The products will be proteins and/or cells with new capabilities. The individual would be working within a team focused on these types of projects, helping each other but also leading your own projects. Email David at david.kaplan@tufts.edu with your CV and a cover letter if interested in this position.
