Medford Historical Society & Museum Opens New Exhibition

We are very lucky, at Tufts, to be surrounded by so many incredible museums and historical sites. The Medford Historical Society & Museum, right down the road, is one of them! Read on for information about their new exhibition, which focuses on migrant stories in Medford.
Migration: The Ongoing American Revolution
Come celebrate Medford’s migrant history with a new exhibit opening on June 29th! Medford has always been a site of migration from the original Indigenous population to people from all over the world: England, Africa, eastern Europe, China, Brazil, Ireland, Italy, Haiti, Latin America, the Middle East, South Asia, and more.
To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution (1775-2025)—the determination of people to chart their own future—this exhibition looks at the history of Medford by featuring interviews with Medford residents telling their stories of migration.
Exhibition is free.
Opens on June 29th and runs through the Fall. Visitors are welcome every Sunday from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
