As a student-led initiative, we aim to engage students by students. In other words, we provide opportunities for students to communicate their research efforts to form collaborations with other students, faculty, and business professionals. This aligns with our desire to encourage data analytics fellow health and nutrition researchers to pay proper attention to the means and modes of communicating their own research methods and results. This includes describing decision-making processes, justifying assumptions, and offering detailed visualizations of data science research digestible to a broad range of audiences. Below, we outline two opportunities for presenting your personal research – we hope that you will!

Session
Overview
All posters will be displayed digitally and via print
throughout the entirety of the conference. A
designated poster session will coincide with lunch
on Feb. 28th.
Presenters will discuss their works in the company of
researchers in a similar field of discipline. The brevity
of presentations (~10 min) will allow for detailed discussion.
Presentation
Formatting
The display area allocated to each poster is 46 inches
high by 33 inches wide. Posters exceeding this size will
not be permitted for display given the limited space
available. We recommend a 0.5-1.0 inch margin along
the outside of your poster. All posters will be submitted
in PDF or PowerPoint format prior to presentation.
Researchers will be permitted 10 minutes to present their
works. An additional 5 minutes will be available for audience
discussion. Moderators will strictly enforce time limits to
permit sufficient time to all presenters. Supplemental slides
are encouraged. All slides will be submitted in PDF or
PowerPoint format prior to presentation.
