About TBG
The Tufts Biotech Group was created in 2006 by two GSBS graduate students who wanted to learn about career opportunities beyond the bench. Since then, the mission of TBG has been to ensure that graduate students and postdocs find successful careers outside of academia. The interests of the club include consulting, biotech, venture capital, science education, and more. If you’re interested send us an email!
Our Groups
Consulting: For students and postdocs interested in consulting we host info events and case work shops to prep for consulting interviews. We are always looking for new people to join who are interested in consulting.
Biotech: Biotech is a large part of TBG. We host career panels, Q&A’s with scientists across various fields, and networking events. If you are interested in a career in industry TBG is for you.
And More: The focus of TBG is dynamic; we host events in venture capital, non-profit, science writing, etc. Students interested in groups beyond consulting and biotech and encouraged to join.

Please select the ‘Graduate School of Biomedical Science’, from the Designation dropdown menu, then select ‘Other – please specify’ (click the blue plus sign to add this option), then write in “Tufts Biotech Group” to ensure we receive the funds! All donations will be used to host club events like career information panels or networking events.
