April 23, 2013 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Join Global Development And Environment Institute (GDAE) for a Brown Bag Lunch:
Investors representing private foundations, individuals, corporations, and pension funds are increasingly adopting “impact investing” in a wide range of sectors in attempts to obtain social and environmental benefits along with conventional financial returns. This rapidly growing trend has huge implications for international development and the new economy. GDAE Research Fellow Shaun Paul will discuss his efforts to establish emerging standards that offer a framework for investors and entrepreneurs to better understand when and how investing can increase social, economic, and environmental resilience.
