The Cognitive Development Lab is located in the Basement level of the Psychology Building on Tufts’ Medford campus.

Driving

If you are coming in to participate in a study we can provide a parking spot for you in the lot next to the lab.

From North of Tufts: Take Winthrop St. to Boston Ave.  Turn left onto Boston Ave. heading south to 490 Boston Ave.  The entrance to the parking lot is to the right of the building .  A research assistant will be waiting to greet you in the parking lot.

From South of Tufts: Take Massachusetts Avenue heading North.  Turn right onto Day St.  Go through Davis Sq bearing left to continue on College Ave.  At Powder House Sq. traffic circle take the 3rd exit to stay on College Ave. Right onto Boston Ave.  The parking lot entrance will be on your left.

From West of Tufts: Take Mystic Valley Pkwy to Boston Ave.  Drive down Boston Ave. heading south.  The parking lot entrance will be on your left.

From I-93:  Exit I-93 merging onto Mystic Ave (coming from the south) or onto Mystic Valley Parkway (coming from the north).  Turn onto Harvard St.  Turn right onto Boston Ave.  The parking lot entrance will be on your right just before the actual Psych Building.

 

Public Transportation

Take the Red Line to the Davis Square Station.

MBTA Bus: From Davis Square catch either the 94 or 96 bus towards Medford Sq.  Get off at the Boston @ College Ave. stop.  Walk down Boston Avenue from the intersection.  We are the second building from the corner, you will pass the Brown and Brew Café on your left.

Tufts Davis Square Shuttle : Alternatively, Tufts offers a free shuttle bus , which runs from Davis Square to the Campus Center.  You can access the shuttle schedule here.  Get off the shuttle at the Campus Center Back stop.  Walk up the large staircase directly in front of you to Professors Row and turn right.  Turn left onto College Avenue.  Turn right onto Boston Avenue.  Walk past the Brown and Brew Café on your left, the Psych building is right next to it.

Walking: If you prefer to walk from Davis Square the lab is about a 15-20min walk.  Walk up College Avenue to Powder House Sq.  Continue around the circle onto College Avenue and keep going until you hit Boston Avenue.  Turn right onto Boston Ave. passing Brown and Brew Café on your left, the Psych building is right next to it.
